Inclinometer Systems
What are Inclinometer Systems: Inclinometers are instruments that measure angles of slope (or tilt) and by extension change in the structure that supports it. Inclinometers are used to measure deformation in soil, slurry and other SOE (Support of Excavation) walls. In-Place Inclinometers are tilt sensors, daisy chained to one another, suspended in inclinometer casing inside boreholes and connected to a data logger.
Measurand ShapeArray (SAAV) contain updated MEMS sensors that reduce power and improve resolution. The SAAV new joint design enables the instrument to zigzag into various existing casing sizes to seamlessly transition from manual to automated monitoring without needing to drill new boreholes.
